The Museum of Caramulo, in Serra do Caramulo, and the Museum Grãão Vasco in Viseu are only a few kilometres away and must be visited.

The Museum of Bread (click on ‘ENG’) is very informative and good for children. It has a traditional restaurant and is an ideal stopping off point for lunch on the way up to the top of the Serra da Estrela mountains.
